My dear Terasians (and honored guests),
Thanks to all of you who participated this weekend. I hope you all had as much fun as I did. You all know I've been a Teras girl at heart for better than a decade now, and this was tremendous.
Thank you also to:
GM Galene for helping organize the event behind the scenes. She always goes above and beyond, and this couldn't have manifested without her.
GMs Tamuz and Wakefield for the fantastic new ash feature on the citizen's pins.
GMs Wakefield, Kynlee, Zoelle, and Mazreth for helping me kill so many of you while you were supposed to be eating and dancing tonight.
A whole slew of GMs for giving us their time through merchanting, role play, and shops.
The shops will be open for another few days. There is a typo in an item in the museum gift shop, but I will fix that in the next day or two and then it will reopen. The balloon will depart soon, so be sure to get your wine and souvenir glass (after you drink it) while it's here.
Eldalina will still be showing up on the Rock with pins now and then, so don't worry if you didn't get yours this weekend.
And thanks, Gweneivia, for the new sig.
~Liia
Gweneivia softly says, "Lavabombs are just the isle's way of saying it loves you."

I will provide my comments in detail after the shops have closed and my Limerick contest is finished - hopefully I won't be reading those out to myself - haha. Hopefully a few people will delay their departure by 48 hours or at least pop back for Tilamaries 06 Lumnea (Tuesday 6th June) at 8pm EST.
Needless to say, I don't think there can be any doubt about how I'm feeling right now - beyond being dog tired of course. Haha. I assure you the skip in my step is not due to dancing lessons or an excess of ale!

Thank you so much to everyone who helped organize this event and all the GMs who put in countless hours merchanting and interacting with us. It was one of the best mini festivals in years, from the shop selection to the merchant presence. It was heartwarming to see the return of so many old faces and old merchant faces, some of whom haven't been seen in years. As so little usually happens on Teras, I really very much appreciate the extra effort that everyone put in to make this a special celebration. It was really above and beyond all expectations. Thank you!

I would just like to say how enjoyable the festival has been.
Too many excellent things to mention. But some of the highlights include:
The spectacular arrival of the prince of the town liaison via balloon
The recounting of the tale of Ghorsa Borthuum as part of the opening ceremony
The introduction of the areas within the Museum, including the Children's Room and the gem of an area beyond it. (Gotta love Nelemar)
The revamped gift shop
The dance lessons - so funny. Who knew I was so nimble.
The drinking game, that I finally got to play at the end.
The wonderful shops - with a variety of wares to meet the needs of the fashion conscious and the hunting obsessed alike
The tireless merchanting!
The closing party culminating in an invasion - saw more blobs than on a dwarven date night!
Old friendships renewed and new friendships made. Good to see so many people on the rock genuinely enjoying themselves.
The above doesn't really do justice to what was a brilliant few days. I'd like to extend my thanks to all those behind the scene who made this event what is was. http://forums.play.net/forums/GemStone%20IV/Towns/Kharam%20Dzu/view/1973
In short, a great cultural event.
Too early to start planning for the 130th Anniversary celebration in ten years time?
