Was there some kind of tweak maybe 3 weeks ago or so? I run scripts to cast a number of my defensive spells and I have gotten 21 minutes on SUF for months now, every time I cast. No exceptions. I noticed starting about 3 weeks or so ago that a couple of my spells that I cast alot seemed to be weaker but I waited and did testing and sure enough, I'm getting shorter times on a number of spells. I now get 19 minutes, no exceptions on SUF. Using logs to verify, it seems to be around 3 weeks ago or so. I've done all the normal checks, no wounds, not leaking mana, casting at the cap, various prep times, casting with and without harnessing, with and without cambrinth, so on and so forth. I may be nuts, but the times speak for themselves, I think.

I actually noticed a similiar thing with shadows, PG and CV. I had carefully noted in my spellbook their max casts, and durations... The caps haven't changed but I was casting them all capped the other day (something I am capable of doing without wasting mana just to clarify) and all of them were from 1-3 roisaen short of what I had for the cap... I figured I COULD have mad an error recording it... but in all three cases? I haven't noticed a reduction in non capped spells... but yes, capped spells do seem to suddenly be a bit shorter... and I'd say three weeks ago is about right for when I tested this... I could double check the date from when I posted it on the MM boards.

Well, upon further testing there has definitely been some change. I used a couple of capped boosters and got the same times. One mage with hundreds of ranks more PM than me is capping SUF at 19 raisens also. What's up folks? It's affecting other spells too but SUF is a nice measuring tool as far as I can tell.

Hmmm a suggustion? (I'd do it myself is I was more coherant at the moment and not bogged down with classes and sleep debt) Someone compile everything that has been brought up here and anything else they can find, post it in the main magic feedback board (since it seems to be effecting all magics... perhaps get some holy and life demonstrations as well) and perhaps throw a bug IG basically referencing the post.
