::grin:: Mild complaint, and before I say it, I'd like to say thank you for the releases. :)

Another thing: I am currently unable to try the spell, for OOC reasons. If someone could post the messaging relevant to the spell, I would greatly appreciate it.

My complaint: The name. In it's old version, the spell made sense. It would allow you to see people's auras. (Psychic feild emanation around an intelligent being) This spell no longer involves intelligent beings, or any kind of life other than the caster's. The spell is not granting the ability to see auras.

"Aura Sight improves your mystical senses, improving your tie to the Plane of Probability and your ability to sense mana."

I'm really not seeing the whole connection to auras here.

All I'm asking is for a different name, that makes more sense with regard to what the new spell is...it's a completely different concept, should get a new name. :) For two reasons: first, because it makes sense. Second, to free up the name Aura Sight for a spell (whatever the guild...such a spell seems suited for either the Moon Magi or Clerics) that -does- involve auras, and all the associated fun stuff there.

Now, normally, I pride myself on my ability to make a suggestion with every complaint, unfortunately, I can't think of a suggestion for a alternate name for this spell. Anyone got any ideas?

PS: I'm going with the common meaning of the word 'aura'. Team Magic, I ask that you not redefine the word aura for DR and use it in a spell name that has nothing to do with what most people consider auras...it'll only create unneccessary confusion. It's a new spell, it deserves a shiny new name.

What does this have to do with Lunar mana?

I might be able to understand aura-sensing being used to gather more mana if it were Life mana, perhaps...you could increase your ability to sense the natural flows and auras of all living creatures around you, and draw on it more efficiently...

But we draw on mana from large celestial bodies....if you're telling me Yavash has an aura, I'm just not buying what you are selling. ::grin::
