Is there a way to perceive the cambrinth you currently have invoked? If there isn't, it would be a nice thing to be able to see (even if it is a higher skill thing) how much mana I have invoked from a specific piece of cambrinth. For example, seeing it in your POWER/PERCEIVE/CONCENTRATE at a certain skill level (maybe around the same time you can charge cambrinth without holding it?). Maybe include harnessed mana as well? I think it would be great to see:
>perceive
You reach out with your senses and see glowing (11/21) streams of roiling Elemental mana coursing through the area.
You sense the Ethereal Shield spell upon you, which will last for about fifteen roisaen.
You are preparing the Zephyr spell at five mana.
You are harnessing six mana.
You are linked to your cambrinth armband at five mana.
You are linked to your cambrinth ring at three mana.
Or somesuch messaging. Also, any idea how long the links last without being used with a spell? I haven't tested it yet, but I noticed the link is gone after a few minutes. Maybe it fades like harnessed mana?

Not quite in the way you are asking for, but if you FOCUS individually on the cambrinth you can see how much mana is within it and whether it's been invoked.
>focus manacle
You focus your magical senses on a heavy cambrinth manacle.
The cambrinth manacle pulses faintly with Elemental energy. You clearly perceive 5 mana streams bound within the manacle.
[You can use INVOKE to activate the mana held in this device.]
Roundtime: 2 sec.
I agree that it would be pretty cool to see as part of a general perceive though.

Well, it's still not quite right, either. Focusing after invoking doesn't give a roundtime, but you still can't tell the invocation cost.
> invoke cube 3
The cambrinth cube pulses with Elemental energy. You reach for its center and forge a magical link to it, attempting to ready 3 mana streams for your use. You manage to attune yourself exactly as you intended to.
Roundtime: 1 sec.
> focus cube
You focus your magical senses on a cambrinth cube.
Your link to the cambrinth cube is intact. You are focused on drawing mana for all types of usage. You clearly perceive 6 mana streams bound within the cube.
I feel like I am missing a verb here that does this. I feel like this exists already, and I'm just forgetting it. If it does, then this might be a good merge point for simplicity's sake.
