Before an hour ago (10:05PM EST right now) my horse would attack once I reached pole or melee. I wouldn't see it in assess nor would I see it advance.
Now it won't attack at all, regardless of where I am, but it is randomly facing something, but at missle.. while I'm riding it.. at melee... its odd ;)
Also, the horse won't advance or anything if I'm leading it.
Someone reccomended stabling it, and that fixes things, so I'll do that, but just posting the bug.
In other news, still impossible to use magic on horses, and horses can still have magic cast on them.

Its facing it cause it has no choice. Anytime you are riding it ...it will mimic you combat range. It still goes back to attention. They require alot of attention, rub,scratch,hug, pat, groom, ect.... You must spend time with yer horse outta combat and reassure the animal alot. If you dont it wont attack and will get skittish and retreat and try to avoid combat.
They also get tired in combat(like we get mindlocked) and will start missing where they normally would not. They also need rest such as you do.
The more time you spend with yer horse the better. Make alot of it "outta combat time" it will help alot.
