According to the post about wild horses, rangers must STORE their already owned horse in order to attempt catching a new one. Has anyone actually DONE this? Because no matter where I try in SCC, the NPCs look at me blankly. Stabling my horse FIRST didn't seem to work either. (And now I'm stuck for an HOUR while they do things to him, before I can try again.)

According to the nice GM that answered my assist, this is part of the "puzzle system" and all was working properly as far as they could tell.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
