I vaguely remember hearing of Azkenal (?) horses that were all 18 hands tall and rode into combat armored only with their thick skin. I also remember them being associated with Horse Clan. Anyone know if they do exist and/or if they can be found around those parts?
Thanks in advance,
Launtris

One of the bad things about DR's economy is that some items come in festivals and never appear again so the price jumps way up. But for things with an infinite supply (horses), the price only goes down so far and then Traders refuse to lower it any further even though the market's flooded.
Short answer? No. Not much.
Barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Ranger, Warrior Mage

Honestly, I would get a cheap horse and see if you like it. Right now horses are to say worthless is to put it mildly even if you are a Paladin and can get the warhorse feature.
You can't move in groups with a horse.
They tack goes el poof oh very very easily.
They can't go into most hunting grounds.
If you are tying to fight from horseback your abilites are severly nerfed to point where its not worth it.
They spook way to easily for a trained horse who in theory should be used to battle.
I love having a horse however I never use it and under the current system (which at to the best of my knowledge is not being worked on) I'll just leave me horse in the stable forever and my exp mirriors alot of other peoples. So get something cheap and give it a try before you blow 65 plat on a horse and then find its useless and just leave it stabled.
