Bozo has spotted you!

Currently the best way to learn perception is the drool at the crossing bank or have a bunch of people steal from you. The only other way is to act like a clown(juggle).

I was wondering if perception learning would be looked at from foragin/hiding/disarming/searching out critters(US-types). Ya know the more IC ways of looking for something hidden or a good hiding place so I can learn perception by actually trying to be an adventurer and well not Bozo the Clown.

Most of the things you mentioned teach perception. Not enough to notice, but enough to get you up to learning.

<<...well not Bozo the Clown.

know how it feels... Until there's a better way, I keep the juggling for when I'm behind the locked door of an Inn... NO ONE's gonna see me juggle!!!

ok, I really meant LATCHED doors, if there is a difference between them and LOCKED doors...

[Gaethrend's Court, Bedroom]
This simple room contains everything you need ... You also see a blue door.
Obvious exits: none.
>clos door
You close a blue door.
>latch door
The latch twists easily and snaps closed with a crisp "CLICK."
get drag from my bac
You get some small ebony dragons from inside your leather backpack.
jugg my drag
You toss six of your ebony dragons into the air and start juggling them...
Roundtime: 14 seconds.
open door
It is latched.

look
[Schvartzgonif's Home]
Walls of blood-red tile and a black pine floor covered by a thick silk rug dyed a brilliant gold and patterned with a maze circling around the emblem of Muspar'i enclose this tiny hovel. In one corner lies an ornately carved canopy bed, and near the bed sits a black obsidian altar with a grandmaster's iron lockpick and a large jar with a stained label depicting a skull and crossbones on it. A black steel brazier burns along the far wall, above it hanging an ivory-framed painting of a Thief. The room holds a mild scent of samatak. You also see an iron-barred window, a pitted black pine door, a braid-trimmed black satin armchair, a bronze-inlaid ebonwood armor stand with some mismatched silver chain coated with tarnish and decorated with tiny rusted goshawks hanging to form fringe on it, a gold-inlaid ebonwood weapon rack with some stuff on it and a silky black short-haired cat.

>juggle my racc
