I just recently decided to give origami a try.

Unfortunately, I've neglected scholarship quite a bit in my training (so that my study factor is 291 and folding factor is 376, according to the calcs).

Does this pretty much prevent me from training mech with origami unless I backtrain a lot of scholarship?

This is one of the reasons why I hate origami. Although the image of warriors carefully folding paper is probably the prime reason.
