Any chance we can get titles based off winning at player run events, such as winning at the Wyvern Trials or at the different jousts, etc. and you only have it until the next event where you lose it unless you defend your title?

Getting a special title during player-run anything is very rare. So rare, in fact, that I can only list one or two that I've ever seen. Most event-based titles are gained through GM-run events or sometimes even Mentor-run events.
I can agree, it might be a neat thing to do, just not sure how much work would be needed or what sort of approvals would be required.
