I was curious to see if we could get stealth moving a little when you fail on hiding on a mob. Getting it up to dabbling, etc. Sort of like how you get a little field experience on weapons when you completely whiff.

Thanks!

PLEASE!

Or, any way to make backtraining Stealth/training Stealth as a tert less painful!

The first 100-150 stealth ranks are so painful and this would help a lot.

All survival tert guilds are MUs so can pretty easily pick up a spell or scroll to help train. Only extra training would be for sorcery if you're a Cleric/Paladin for shadows. Bards naturally get Misdirection and Warrior Mages have Rising Mist.

Haven't had a problem training stealth effectively at level with one of the above options as survival tert.

If all else fails, take off all your armor too.

Seconded! Made a return to the Barb guild and it's oh so painful with low stats/skills to hide. A trickle of experience from attempting to hide, my character learning what he's doing wrong to try and hide better the next time, isn't all that outlandish of an idea. I mean honestly, we learn from our mistakes right?

Absolutely. I've learned far, far more from screwing things up and/or failing miserably than I have when I've been successful at something.
