REXP Cycle switch on 04/28/2019 02:19 AM CDT

My (currently problematic) Internet connection keeps disconnecting me randomly and I'm accumulating rested EXP in my pool as a consequence. Which is good. The not-so-good part is that this promptly starts draining as soon as the cycle refreshes. I'd prefer the draining to happen on my own terms.

So is there a way to switch REXP off for a while? As in not activate experience drain on till I want it?

I've tried playing around with some relevant verbs, but nothing seems to work.

Sleep twice. If you're not pulsing experience you're not using rested.

If I sleep - in either form - I also disable experience gain. Which I don't need to do, because I've already gained the rested experience as stored rested experience time (or whatever you call it).

I also don't want to have go log off or sleep for the day every time my connection goes bananas - which happens.

What I'm after is a way of pushing forward the experience cycle refresh... so that instead of happening in an hour (say) it happens in 5. That way I just lose out on one day's cycle, but when another incident happens, the cycle will refresh when I want it to.

How do you handle your REXP? Does it just happen when it happens?
