I was wondering if Bonded spellbooks can be given to someone else permanently the way Houses and Horses can be, or if not, will they ever be able to? I have a Moon Mage on my account with one that I never use and would like to give it to a old Moonie bud of mine.

No, you won't be able to switch them or unbond them. This is something stated by Skra many times.
But bonded spellbooks only have 2 things...a characters name on it and the guild they are in. Other than that, you can give them away, but there is always their name on it and that guild

<<Yes they do. They have your name on them, they list spells from your guild, and they will attack anyone but the original buyer if they have attack crystals socketed. They're bonded.

My spellbook has my name on it. That doesn't "bond" it in any way to me. It means its a book that has my name written on it.
And my spellbook doesn't have any crystals on it. The socket in no way bonds it to me. And...if you don't want it to attack anyone....take the crystal out.

Yes, actually, it does. This is the same identical kind of bonding that the Book of Dragonnes has.
>And my spellbook doesn't have any crystals on it.
Just because you choose not to use a feature does not mean the feature is not there.

Didn't say it doesn't exist. As you conviniently didn't paste the other part of my post. You can take the crystal off.
And I've not noticed anyone have a problem before with giving anyone their spellbooks before. I've given mine out on many occasion, and also read from other peoples.
