Atrathien asked Alnilam, Enbarr and myself about some proposed changes to a couple of our existing spells. So I thought I would ask your opinions on what you all thought before we went ahead and made any changes.

There have been alot of complaints about spell scrolls and the clerics. Seeing as we have Phelim's Sanction that saps us of all of our harness, thus making us lose any spell scrolls we learn. Atrathien has come up with this proposal:
Change POM to make it self-castable. What this will do is it will work for a short duration of time, and if you lose harness during that duration of time due to casting PS, you wont lose any spell scrolls you have learned. But.. this wont prevent you from losing spell scrolls due to death ect...

right now as it stands, AE is you cast at a certain amount, and a specified number of bolts come down from the sky and basically do minimal damage... the more you prep at, the more bolts you get ect...
The proposed change would be to limit the number of bolts, but make them more powerful the more you put into the spell.

Any comments, suggestions?
