After reading the many responses about the new spell list Id like to share with you a couple of things.

First -- I want to thank those who have complimented the diversity of the list, we worked hard to get a list that had so much potential approved for future release.

Second -- These are your boards, and are here for you to use. You have a right to be critical of anything that you wish, this is your forum. Id like to point out that we read these boards, for inspiration, support, and to work on the things "you" the players are asking for. I have been taken aback by the level of critical comments that I have read regarding these spells. Certainly discussion is a good thing, but condeming a spell or series of spells based upon a couple of lines of description is probably a bit premature. You should know that all of these spells came in part or in whole from player suggestions. Sifting through what must have been 60 or so pages complied by GM Nionon we spent hours narrowing the field down to the new list you have now. These are "your" spells, you asked for them, give us time to make them something you will be glad to have.

I guess the best way to sum this up would be this. It is hard for us to sit down and put in the time on something new for you, when we get the feeling that it has been condemned before it was even considered.
