A long time elusive bug with the way a group shared mana has been found. How well mana was shared among a group was supposed to vary depending upon the guild. It has not been, and possibly never has been acting properly. Instead everyone regardless of guild has been sharing only 25% of their mana.

This is being fixed as we speak. Keep an eye on the news, you will be given a couple days notice, so you can get used to the new influx of mana. The backfire rate may increase with groups until players get used to harnessing at their full potential for others.
