REQUIRED SKILLS -- Demonstrable coding experience and the ability to grasp a new scripting language quickly; the ability to write accurate and well-commented code efficiently and in accordance with tight deadlines; strong debugging skills.

Interested? Qualified? Ready to take the plunge into game design? We want to know about you! Here's how to apply:

(1) APPLICATION FORM -- Complete the form entitled GMAPP.txt; find it on the Simutronics website --> Files --> Dragonrealms File Libraries --> Simutronics Official Files.

(2) WORK SAMPLES -- At the bottom of your completed application form, include two work samples, as follows. Choose two options from the list below.
(a) For each of your two choices, provide a "design document" description of the item or ability, detailing why you think it would make a good addition to the game and explaining the basics of how it works.
(b) Then, in "pseudo-code", write a script to handle the operation of the item or ability, including all checks the script would make to determine basics such as success or failure, any more advanced "Wow, cool!" features you would like the item or ability to have. (If you are able, providing suitable scripted messaging will earn extra points, but is not a priority; include place-holder messaging if you're really not good at the fluff parts.)

WORK SAMPLE OPTIONS
-- a new combat special ability for Barbarians
-- a new non-combat special ability for Barbarians
-- a new Barbarian-only weapon
-- a new Barbarian-only non-combat item

Submit your completed application and writing sample as a PLAIN TEXT document attached to an email to DRAPPS@simutronics.com. Title your email as follows:
