I'll be honest with you, I don't see much of a problem with hunting/war - dog/falcon, etc...those are very descriptive of the physicality of the creature (what, no-one for a show dog?). I never had the pleasure to meet this other mage who you refer to who did the earlier work, but I assure you no matter of bribery will get me to use offbeat pigments. I didn't waste my time harvesting them so I won't have them anyway.
