Greetings all! This is the list of the winners of the Remodeling contest.
These are the top five entries in no particular order.
"A Besieged Shard" by Lunustar Lexious. Vibrantly painted in hues of red, orange and yellows, the artist has brought to life a depiction of a besieged Shard. Catapults, fiery pitch, and a hail of arrows assault the defenders of the city, while Gorbesh soldiers mount an attack upon the gates. A lone and weary-looking warrior stands in the foreground, watching from a distance with a haunted look in her eyes as if she had come too late to help, or is too tired to try.
"Tea Party" by Rahe Datiao. A little Elven girl sits on the ground in front of a modest cottage on a warm summer day. She has prepared a tea party for her guests, the stuffed bunny and the stuffed kitten, and seems to be carrying on a conversation with them as she serves the tea. Oblivious to her and her guests, the window behind her reveals her mother smiling out at her daughter's play.
This lovely painting is an original by Gweneviere Mai'lae. A soft black velvet console depicts a heart-warming scene. A field of stars is scattered upon the dark backdrop. The three moons of Elanthia shine downwards, illuminating a white unicorn standing beyond an archway. Head bowed, the unicorn is kneeling upon the ground amidst a rose garden. Scattered about the unicorn's hooves are pearlescent fragments of the fourth moon, reminiscent of a time past.
This vibrant painting was done by the talented Dhidow Modum. Brushed in vibrant watercolors, the portrait depicts two elementals locked in combat over a turbulent ocean. To the left, two crimson eyes hover in midair tinged with imperceptible white streaks resembling currents of moving wind. To the right, a creature of the deepest blue is half-immersed in the raging waters. Several geysers of water appear to have erupted near the air elemental. The artist cleverly leaves out whether the air elemental will dodge the watery assault.
This beautiful painting is an original done by Rayvani. As you look at the painting, you see a beautiful violet-eyed maiden staring back at you from the edge of a moonlit forest. She is draped in a black velvet cloak, which conceals a voluminous lilac gown. Perched upon her shoulder is a midnight-black raven with iridescent yellow eyes.
We will be looking into have these paintings on review and/or being sold. I would like to thank everyone that entered, they all did a great job. Thank you and keep your eyes open for the next contest!
