A repost follows. Those who think they were fighting with butter knives
this weekend and those who were experiencing trouble with ranged attacks,
the explanation for what was going on is below. This effected critters as
much as it effected players. However, it was a temporary adjustment that's
now been removed.

again made most ranged weapons...melee effective only. Purposeful or
mistakingly...I sure wish you would look into it.>

Due to the situation with natural attacks I put in a temporary cap over the
weekend to reduce wildly high numbers on natural attacks. This affected
players as well. I've removed the cap limitation since it's clear that
wild numbers aren't causing the natural attacks to be unusually stronger.
If I can confirm my suspicions today, I'll have a potential fix in for this
evening.
