<<<<< I have always thought that people with high amounts of foraging should be able to check out a room and just see what could be found there. Not have to forage for a long list of things one at a time, but just check it out and get back a message that you might find some yelith root, jadice flower and seolarn weed. The higher the foraging exp, the more accurate it is. Kinda like power perc. - Telynn >>>>>
This is reserved for the "scouting" ability. A Ranger only (or heavily Ranger biased) skill that is forthcoming.
Now, before everyone screams, "Ranger only skill!!!!!!" Let me remind you that the act of foraging itself is not the action of rooting around in the dirt seeing what you pull up as many players think. The messaging you get is just the description of the process.
A generic forage...meaning you don't specify anything, is exactly what you are asking for...Let's see what grows in this room. Ah, some grass, oak, roses, berries.
Even the scouting ability won't tell the Ranger exactly what grows in room...it will tell them the types of items that are commonly found in the room given the terrain and climate...and the better they get at scouting (based off several skills, stats, and their current bonus) the more accurate and detailed that information will be.
