Though anyone can have a horse trained as a warhorse only Paladins can take full advantage of its fighting skills.

That does not mean that other more general combat related things won't require the animal to be warhorse trained in the future. This just refers to the horse fighting hoof and teeth right alongside its Paladin owner.

Note: This does not refer to mounted combat. Anyone trained in mounted combat can do so as long as the horse is regular combat trained.
