Greetings, Warrior Mages.

I apologize for the lack of information about your Guru, which, understandably, is causing some of you anxiety about the personnel situation in the Guild. I hope what I have to say will go some way toward reassuring you that matters are in hand.

It was my initial preference to announce his name early, and to introduce him here with a biography of his experience as a GM, so that he could come to meet you and become visible and help you feel that progress is clearly being made toward a full and active staff for your Guild. However, on balancing the interests of his current responsibilities against his future responsibilities, it became clear that we Guilds people must simply be patient and await the right time for his coming-out parade here.

He and I are as excited as anyone for him to join us officially and get to work on the Guild. That said, he is currently a valued and necessary resource elsewhere in the game, and he and I and his current supervisor all agree that the commitments he took on when he joined the staff must continue to receive his full attention until such time as he has completed and overseen the release of his final major project for that team.

As that team's leader, he is committed to seeing out his responsibilities there to his usual exceptionally high standard, and therefore it makes sense to ensure that new work does not land on his desk in the meantime, bringing with it distractions from the tasks he is working through at present. It has been a concern that to announce his name and introduce his philosophy and plans for the Guild would be to generate a great deal of email and message board correspondence for him, which would be difficult for him simply to put aside until he is free to deal with it. Thus, we are decided that we will not release his name at this time.

I do hope this lays to rest any feeling that we have misrepresented the truth of your Guru situation. Your future Guru is not a new AGM, he is a GM of considerable experience, highly respected judgment and extraordinary creative talent. Once he becomes available to us, I don't doubt that you will quickly feel the benefit of these qualities. In the meantime, please appreciate his dedication to the completion of projects he is responsible for, and know that he will bring that same results-focused approach to the Guild.

In regard to the wider WM Guild team, GM Nadrien is an established member of the WM staff who is keeping development matters ticking over and maintaining a dossier of player concerns which need a Guru's attention. Additionally, in conversation with SGM Riel last night, I have learned that your new Liaison is making very pleasing progress through his training, and promises to be a conscientious and proactive member of your Guild staff.

You have my sincere thanks for your patience during this unfortunately lengthy time without a person at the helm. However, please know that I am supremely confident that we have found you a Guru who will more than make up for the slow period you have experienced. Be assured that I will introduce him here the very second it becomes sensible, for all involved, for me to do so. :)
