Due to disconnect lost my armor and it's been years since I last purchased some. Where does one go these days to get good LC armor and some heavy plate gauntlets?

There are a number of traders who sell for different metal smiths. I believe Martyka regularly schedules Trader Days, so you should be able to find something to your liking then.

Well, if "good" is what you are seeking, there are a number of stores selling standard LC armors and HP gauntlets. But if you want "the best" LC body armor, I believe Taghz makes an LC hauberk at 180 stone range. That is the best available. Since he's the only one making it, it does sell for a premium price. The "Relayer standard" for LC hauberks is 240 stone.
The 180 version has the same stats as the 240, or so I'm told (never actually appraised any, just read what was posted when the mix was discovered) so that makes it THE BEST available.
Many traders in Crossing sell the wares of many of us armor smiths. I'm afraid I'm not up to date on which trader sells which smith's goods. Ahnoui sells mine in Crossing and Ciressa sells my stuff in Haven, depending on which is closer.

> Ohh.. if that came across as a gripe that the Compendium wasn't "up to date", that wasn't my intent. In fact, I'd be more than happy to go get the Ironworks merchandise stats and such and send it to you to help with the updating.

I will take that offer of help for any and all shops in P5. The last time I did an big update I nearly went broke. Also any Paladin-only shops I may be missing I'd gladly take. Contact info is included in the CEC if you want to help (that's for everyone).

My current LC Hauberks are 161 stones in weight...As I have told Redarch...I only make hauberks...if you want shirts and other stuff hit up red's or other forgers trading partners...
My hauberks are usually sold by any trader who purchases my wares.
The last three traders to purchase my hauberks are Saelia, Annandale, and Suru.

Didn't realize you sold to any and all traders that wished to buy and weren't selling via a selected, exclusive trader. I'll add that tidbit of information to the next person that asks about your hauberks.
