I'm hoping to make some HC gloves and greaves for a friend and I, does anyone have a good mix for these patterns for the forge?

While I do have excellent mixes for HC gloves and greaves, I would suggest you get in the forge and experiment on your own. For armor, especially heavy armor accessories, think iron slugs and lead slugs. Mixes don't matter nearly as much with armor as they do with weapons. I believe greaves are a 6 slug volume item, and gloves are a 9 slug volume... or it's the other way around. I don't have my forging notes with me at the moment.

Try something like this, and it should work for both gloves and greaves:

4 lead slugs = 32 stones
1 iron bar = 51 stones
MIX
MIX
2 coal dust
MIX

That should give you iron alloy prior to adding the dust, and then steel afterward. Pour it into the wire mold and the weight should come out to be 75 stones for one, and 50 stones for the other, or very close to that. I think the gloves will be 75 and the greaves 50.

I hope you have a lot of HC/LC ranks and a TON of mech lore, not to mention strength and stamina. Make several wire molds because you're going to break at least 1 if not more.
