Toolstraps work based on the noun. I'm not sure what HX you are referring to that doesn't work with a toolstrap. As long as the noun is crossbow the "braided toolstrap with steelsilk ties" works for any of them.

Gotcha, thanks. Yes, I was using a slurbow on the toolstrap so that must be why it wasn't working.
