Well I did manage to pull off the heavy/heavy halbred, however it was weighty. 63 stones instead of the targetted 43 stones, with poor balance and fairly suited. So yea if anyone has a mix they wouldn't mind sharing for that weight gimme a shout.

You should need a total of 8 grinds to make that halberd Ternith. Just so you know, course if you make one like that with less due to the mix, let me know I'd be quite interested.

T, if you manage to finally get there, I'll be your first customer and best friend for life. A garg ate my Rayje forged heavy/heavy/43 a while back, and I'm needin a new one.

Maulem just a heads up, next time you decide to train halberd in gargs I'd suggest getting a short hafted halberd(or a fancy fest version of one). I've never had mine damaged no matter what I hunt. You give up the pole range but not worrying about damage is nice.

P.S. I feel for ya on the lose of the halberd it truely is a lovely weapon

43 stones is a pretty decent weight... Beliel, remember how you were gonna make a halberd for me? 43 stones is good.

How's that compare to a Lochaber axe though?

Fine. I'm wrong.

Well its 19 stones lighter, has better puncture, less slice and impact, better balance less suitability.

That or just set stance to 0 parry, which I usually do but forgot to this time. Heh. Thanks Kleis.

I'm definately not any expert in the halberd field, but the way I've done it... Lochaber axe for things that can't parry, as that thing is a monster. For anything with parry abilities, or difficulty hitting, go with the forged halberd, as the balance will help more than the added damage. There's nothing worse than absolutely having to wait for a lunge in order for you to hit something ::shudder::

I can't confirm if its either 100 or 150, however I did have over 150 ranks in all weapons when the new titles came out and that was one of the titles that I had. Rumor has it that it is definatly not 100, but once again I can't confirm or deny that.

FYI. It appears that you have to have over 150 ranks. So every weapon at 151 ranks +.

<<painful sling and crossbow training>>

My friend in Plat told me that dancing Bear (if you're a barbarian) seems to help while training slings. Course, if you're lucky enought to have some of those rounded corals or slings bullets, then more power to you. I haven't tried this yet (only 20th, no Bear dance for me), but if you're of sufficient circle, give it a shot.

As far as crossbow, I'm doing great with a arm-worn shield and those ironwood quadrellos...just hit like a hammer.
