A lochabar axe is a pole-ranged halberd type weapon.

You are certain that it could do:
poor puncture damage
great slice damage
severe impact damage

You are certain that the lochabar axe is poorly balanced, and is reasonably suited to gaining extra attack power from your strength.

You are certain that the lochabar axe is of average strength, and is in pristine condition.

Weighs 62 stones. It's something of a monster, but it's a monster that hits hard as a freight train. if weight is no issue, I'd recommend this.

I'm a personal fan of the short-hafted halberd from Theren. mod/mod/fair fairly/fairly 40 stones. Not a huge clunker of a weapon but it has its moments.

If only it had equal strength/agility modifiers. I just can't pump that much strength, I'm but a lowly -1 strength elf.

Oh I agree. I use a forged one myself. Heavy/mod and considerably lighter. The kicker, of course, is that the request was the most damaging store-bought when weight is not an issue. That'd be the lochabar.

Thank you for the replys! Right now I am using the short hafted and liking it, was just curious about a harder hitting one once I beef up my strength and whatnot.

What does a forged one appraise like compared to the short hafted one? My appraisal is horrid right now, so I'm not to savvy when it comes to weapons.

Another possibility for best (technically) store-bought halberd is the partisan fron the last fest. If I remember right, it's l/g/h p/f at 65 stones, and has a QS side with great impact.

I use it with great regularity, even though I don't have the skill to get certains on the apps.

A partisan with a broad woodgrain-steel blade is a halberd type weapon.

You are certain that it could do:
heavy puncture damage
heavy slice damage
fair impact damage

You are certain that the partisan is fairly balanced and is fairly suited to gaining extra attack power from your strength.

The partisan is made with metal.
You believe that the partisan probably weighs several tens of stones.
You are certain that the partisan is worth exactly 43200 lirums.

i can't get weight yet.
