I know generally axes don't do as well swords, but I kind of feel silly carring around 2 swords and I think a Heavy edged axe will match my PC well.
So I'm curious what can be done stat wise with forged battle axes, or does anyone have a recommendation on a one that can be bought from a store? They all seem like carbon copies on one another to me.
So any recommendations?

I use both a forged BS and a forged axe. If I am mostly parrying, and if I am really at level, I usually use my BS because of its balance. But if I want to really smack something down, I pull out my axe. If I can hit the beastie with it, I will put the hurt on with my axe.

No. Only the tunneler's axe appraises better in the hands of a Dwarf. I am not aware of any others.
Honesty may be the best policy, but it's important to remember that apparently, by elimination, dishonesty is the second-best policy.
