I know generally axes don't do as well swords, but I kind of feel silly carring around 2 swords and I think a Heavy edged axe will match my PC well.

So I'm curious what can be done stat wise with forged battle axes, or does anyone have a recommendation on a one that can be bought from a store? They all seem like carbon copies on one another to me.

So any recommendations?

heh, thats what I figured the axe would be for pure offensive, should fit well with my war mage. The balance was really my only main issue, but between tingle and SUF, I'm sure I can make it work.

No. Only the tunneler's axe appraises better in the hands of a Dwarf. I am not aware of any others.
