I will have to try mine out again- as I recall it wasn't the RT that was the issue, it was exhaustion. Those heavier weapons take a fatigue toll.

I'll do that when the character I want it for has a bit more muscle. I'm not concerned about minimum RTs most of the time, but I do consider fatigue to be an issue. Thanks for the tip!

This is just a general question. I am thinking of hanging up my 'better for training' bastard sword and switching to an axe- well because its an axe, not a sword.
With that in mind- what are some of the better HE Axes out there at say 65 stone or less? I am probably looking for a higher quality fest axe because I am tired of dull sounding weapons.
Anyone have any ideas?
Clerics are just so cuddly you can't get mad at them, until they try to rip your soul out and chew on it like a candy bar.

There might be better options out there, since I haven't used an HE axe, or looked into them in a long time as a serious weapon. That said, the only real suggestion that comes to mind would be one of the HE/HT axes sold at Toss-O-Rama from the Hollow Eve fests, though they are a bit heavier than you were looking for (75 stone).
Here's one example of them:

You could always go with a forged battle axe, they normally range from:
dismal/very heavy/somewhat fair dis/dec - 27 stones
to
dismal/great/heavy terribly/well - 70 stones
Crimsondae's shop in Riverhaven has the them for sale, varrying weights\apps can be made in between those two but probably would need ordered.
