Curious as to the best balance one can achieve on a forged HE. The template doesn't matter, I'm just looking for something to work parry with since I'm normally a ranged/stealth fighter.

And after I posted I thought that since I don't train shield maybe I should go for 2HE instead (they're both about the same but I'm going to start to concentrating on one over the other). What's the best balance I could expect from a 2HE?

I charge 15 plat for my le/me/he stuff.. basties 25 min (that is store bought prices and I will not go below that!), and 2he are 30.
The 36 stone bastard sword (a prefect one that is a true pain to get all 22 grinds on) is l/g/p r/f in he mode. and r/r in 2he mode. Those Perfects (as we call them) go for about 75 plats or more. The ubers (1 grind shy of that) are p/g/p r/f (I think on the impact) and go for about 50 plats.
I mostly do custom orders.. I give discounts for multiple items, if you are a dwarf, barb or rissan. 5% off for each of the last 3, cumulative.

Magdar a question on the perfects. Is the balance on the HE side the best balance you can get with normal metals on a HE weapon? If not what is? If so how do I go about ordering one from you?

A 28 stone bastard sword ground for balance would have more balance than the 36 stone. As is the case with other weapons, Bastard Swords become less balanced as they get heavier. If I'm not mistaken, the Reasonable rating in HE on the 36 is only 1 grind into that range.
