ReplySo I recently aquired:
a leaf-blade longsword with a chakrel stone pommel
l long
Both edges of the folded steel blade curve symmetrically out, in and out again where the blade meets the sharkskin wrapped hilt. The hilt ends in a white glaes cage that holds a faceted chakrel stone.
I tried meditating on it and I got:
A vision of an imperfect, flickering flame fills your mind for a moment, as you sense that your spirit has attained a strange plateau.
I'm told it does SOMETHING, but has a timer so may not do it all the time. I'm really horrible at this whole PAFO thing, so anyone got any thoughts?

I'm only aware of one working chakrel weapon in prime. From what I recall, it has a similar quality to the chakrel orb I won as part of the Barb Haven Newbie Guide contest, in that it replenishes IF once per timer cycle. I haven't quite nailed down the timer cycle on my orb, but know it reset at around 3-4 RL days.

Also, not all chakrel replenishes IF. Most chakrel only allows a barbarian to simply check IF level without having an open flame present.
