Getting tired of poking my 29 stone sabre at beasties and falling down from exhaustion, so I thought I might ask for some opinions on what the best ME would be for me. To start off, I'm a gnome, and never plan on getting much stronger, maybe a 'lil more stamina and definately will work on my agility in the future. My current stats are as follows:
Strength : 14 Reflex : 19
Agility : 16 Charisma : 12
Discipline : 15 Wisdom : 15
Intelligence : 18 Stamina : 16
I'm not looking to sell my soul for a weapon so no glaes or kertig or any of that really fancy stuff. Are there any festival/merchant/sold weapons that'd work well for me? What kind of stats (exact) could I get on a lighter medium edge that would take advantage of my agility being high and my strength and stamina being somewhat low in the long run? Right now my agility/strength/stamina is all about the same just so I can carry what I have and fight without fainting after the first swing, but I'd like to ignore everything but the agility from now on since it just takes to many TDP's to train strength and stamina any more. I'd probably like to get a pokey weapon and a slicy weapon eventually since I'd use both fighting styles. I look forward to hearing from you weapon enthusiasts and forgers out there.

I'd look at the little Telo from Shard. Its like 16 stones and half a plat Dok. Not too shabby on the damage for how light it is, either. My pallie used one for over 20 circles until he graduated to a 26 stone sabre and then his Scythe-blade. He did inherit his brother-in-law's sweet 18 stone scim though, which he loves playing with.

Get a forged 18 stone scimitar, has more power than a telo and is much sturdier and lighter than a skra (yuck skra?) scimitar. You can usually find them pretty cheap, if not drop me a line and I will try to make one for you next time I go forging.

I have a gnome trader in Plat with stats a bit lower than yours. She uses a scim, and tries to take a couple of extra ticks to rest between attacks. And when she starts to get too tired anyway, I set her stance to shield and let the critters chew on that while she rests. Also, I keep her in brawl mode so she can use a few of those moves to mess up her critter's balance without effecting her fatigue.

Adding to Ryeka's post, another thing you could do between combat sequences is appraise the critter. It gives a few seconds RT for you to catch your breath, work defense, and it works another skill (quite well in fact).

I was thinking forged definately unless there are some light fancy cruise ME's, but I was looking for a bit more detailed answers. How can they be made to benefit my agilty and ignore my strength? I've heard there are different ways of forging them for balance/strength. What are the best stats you can get with an 18 stone scimitar and an 18 stone sabre when you're forging them more for balance than for strength? I've tried the appraisal thing previously but when I can mind lock appraisal with my pouch o sapphires after 3 tries, appraising critters gets old ;) By the time I get through LX, LT, and Brawling to practice with ME, most of my other skills are Mind Locked, so just layin down the smack is what I'm looking for. I've got an 18 stone sabre on order, but I'm still trying to hunt down Servium to see if he has it for me yet :P Just looking to see if there is anything out there better for say under 50 plats or so

There's also the Feather weighted Cutlass (I think its a quest weapon) or the Sapara (I think from Aesry). Both are lighter but as with the Telo flimsy. Best to go with a stronger weapon and parry which should also teach your weapon as you parry.
