Hey all,
I won this scimitar in a contest the other night and was wondering if anyone knew anything about it. I was told it was a barbarian only weapon.
a blackened steel scimitar etched with a silvery wolverine
look scim
The image of a silvery wolverine emerges from the blackened steel blade, as though the mighty beast is pouncing forward from the heavy blanket of night.
tap scim
You impatiently tap your scimitar on the ground, awaiting battle.
turn scim
You let your scimitar hang down and swing gently like a pendulum before bringing it up to rest on your shoulder.
I can't appraise ME at all, so I won't even put that. Was just wondering if anyone knew any other verbs, how it appraises, and what's the advantage of a barb only weapon if there is one?
Thanks!

They can't pick it up it will zap them if they try to touch it, and if a barb hands it to them they will drop it though I believe when I handed one to my friend they could hold it long enough to put it in a container if they wanted to. Basicly it's just a fluffy crossing scimitar with some neat verbs. It has the same verbs as the barbarian only axe from the ice fest which was actually it's own type of weapon. The war axe from ice fest was 100 stones heavy slice heavy edged, not very impressive appraisal but it hits hard with that weight behind it. There is a whole set of these barb only weapons, pretty much one of every weapon type except bows and slings, and I don't think there was a halberd or pike but I forget for sure.

These are all the ones I could find:
>tap my axe
You impatiently tap your axe on the ground, awaiting battle.
>wave my axe
You grip your axe tightly then heave it up in the air, letting loose a wild battle cry!
>turn my axe
You let your axe hang down and swing gently like a pendulum before bringing it up to rest on your shoulder.
>lean my axe
A smirk crosses your face as you lean on your axe, feeling very confident about your abilities.
>clench my axe
You hunch over in an attack stance, gritting your teeth as you clench the sweaty grip of your axe.
Tested them on the scimitar and they all work with it as well.

Not bad for something from a Mentor teaching night, eh? ;) I'm thrilled to hear you're enjoying it.
