I am hoping that someone can give me some guidance on some weapon shopping. Festival fluffy weapons not withstanding, I have a need for a new ME -- I am particularly looking for a heavier blade. I have one in the high teens, and one in the low 20's, but would like something with a little more oomph. Is there a list of what weights can be fashioned?

Further, I would be insterested in people's thoughts on skill/strength/agility vs. weight.

Thanks,

Scimitars really max at around 33-36 stones. they will all give you the same appraisal in those stones, but might give you a few different compares. It's going to be P/H/L F/R FS in those stones range. Scimitars won't get fair impact no matter how little ya grind 'em, so added weight after that point will just take away from the balance.

The heavy slice scim is something to be feared. Before I decided a Kaldar should swing a bigger beast, it was my weapon of choice. The upgrade from crossing scim to the 36 stone variety sold me for life on player created gear :)

Heavy-bladed scims are available in Dirge. Admittedly, not too many people think of Dirge as a shopping place.

The heavy-bladed scims are sold in the shop in Riverhaven. Also... they're a lot worse than crossing scimitars.

I was told that it is possible to get reasonable balance on a heavy slice scim if you drop the construction, I think they mentioned it was 31 or 33 stones to do it.

Haven't found anyone out there that knows how though.
