I know these are big weapons, but I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a container to hold a halberd, pike, and quarterstaff weapon. I've seen the shoulder tubes in Teren or the Backtubes in a couple of stores across the realms. Any recommendations?
Not too many storebought containers will work other than the backtube and shoulder tube. If you have the money buy a claymore sheath, a long mesh weapon harness, the older version of belted leather baldrics, the two variety of greatsword scabbards, or a staff harness. Those are usually easier to find than an old beta backpack.

Money is definitely an issue. Can anyone approximate for me the size of these tubes? Do they hold one, two or three weapons? Right now I'm lugging around a mistwood boar spear, and would like to use a bo stick or hand-carved cane just to train QS.

Well, you are in luck. Yesterday I decided to see how big some of the containers were in Theren. While I could not fit a pole-ranged halberd in the shoulder tube or greatsword sheath, I was able to fit seven golden tassled spears at 40 stones each into the shoulder tube and was able to get eleven spears in the greatsword sheath from the keep. The sheath may have been able to hold more, but I didnt feel like getting more money so use the sheath for your spears and staves and get a strap for your halberd.
