I've returned after being away for several years and have been trying to get used to all of the changes (most of my forged and tanned items being useless being foremost among said changes). I have a shuri-kota shield that's started to get damaged, but neither the metal repair nor the leather repair will take it, they both say they that they don't work on that (the shield) here. Is this a known issue? Do I have to take the shield somewhere in particular? Or something else entirely?

Also try a repair shop that repairs both leather and metal such as Kamze's in Langenfirth or Ylono (I think?) in Shard.

I tried an appraise careful and then gave it to Catrox and he accepted it, so I imagine that's what did it. Thanks for the help gang.
