Suggestion: analyze <damage type> on 05/16/2017 11:43 AM CDT
It would be great if we could analyze <damage type> like analyze slice for example would put together a routine with only slice based attacks perhaps at a reduced benefit from tactics, or analyze slice impact puts together a slice and impact based routine with a lesser penalty.
Base analyze would give the biggest benefit because it carries the disadvantage of having to thrust with your 1 puncture greataxe, but it would be nice to be able to use tactics combos that suit your weapon rather then getting stuck with whatever combo drops in your lap.

This would be great. I like to train tactics by analyzing, but I hate when it suggests attacks that are unsuitable for the weapon I am using.
It would be even better if analyze automatically took the weapon into account.

Automated would be cool too.
But if you can select which damage type you want your combo to favor you can lean towards one of the damage values that a creature isn't as resistant to even if its a point or two lower then the highest weapon stat.
I imagined that tactics was giving you some benefit in exchange for losing some flexibility by having to jump through a given set of hoops rather then the combo you might prefer, if that is the case, then the tiered reduction in tactics bonus effectiveness seems like a fair trade off for being able to use tactics more realistically (using it in line with the strong suits of the weapons your using).

...or just use charged combat maneuvers to train it. Lalala.
