Did you look at them and SEE the bloodworm? Or did they just tell you it was there. You need to SEE it for yourself before it registers for you to be able to take it off.

For some reason, when I tried to tend a guy with a bloodworm AND a super bad bleeder (in the same spot), I kept trying to tend the bleeder instead of remove the bloodworm.

The system will not allow you to remove bloodworms from a un-tended spot. You can have it partially tended, but if it's completely untended, it will not allow you to remove the bloodworm. So, if you tend the location, it'll check for bleeding first.

You should be able to try a few other things that I imagine would aim for the bloodworm first. Try tending the worm itself. 'Remove bloodworm' or 'hold bloodworm' should work too.

Those have worked for me in the past.

Are you talking about tending a bloodworm on a non-tended bleeder spot?

IE, as far as I know, you can't remove a bleeder from your left leg if your left leg is bleeding and untended. (partially tended is counted as tended)..I know that REM BLOOD doesn't work, not sure about HOLD. If you have information the contradicts this, I'd be overjoyed.
