So I've been trying to move to lang for brocket deer for quite a while now... but it always seems like I'm not at the right spot for them, defense wise, and I can't understand why.

I've seen them given as suggestions for people with very similar combats to mine, but currently, young deer don't teach me any defense at all, and 3 normal deer beat the hell out of me in seconds. What am I doing wrong?!

Sheath I had a similar issue with a barbarian at those ranks, Deer can hit a little hard for a barbarian at times even with the dance buff up. Try hunting in the pec area (I assume you want to stay in Theren) and get your stats just a smidge higher and you'll be able to work the middle deers.

Hm - that's interesting, if multi takes circle into account, that's probably the issue, since at 30 I'd guess I'm just about the lowest circle there.

Thanks for the advice on peccs, went and tried a couple of them this evening and they locked stuff real quick. Looks like I can finally stick around!

Complain? The only complaint I have with multi is that it caps learning well before defenses so while circling it requires you to backtrain it some every time you move up. And even that's really easy to fix.
