Aside from caracals, and I never thought I'd see a creature that would match them, if you are interested in multi and being able to avoid being a pauper the small forest gryphon's train very nicely. I have no problem locking multi or shield in there at around 350, and leather locks as well at just shy of 400 ranks.

Moving 2HE at 325 plus is slow, but locking HE in there at 300 is no problem.

The best weapon in the game isn't the sharpest. It isn't the one with the best construction. Its the one that you like well enough to take out of your sheath and use on a regular basis.

Aren't Reivers mixed in with Raiders?

Reivers gen on the first floor of the manor, along with raiders and the occasional clan chief.

Reivers also gen outside the manor, along with warcats. I don't think raiders or clan chiefs gen outside the manor?

No raiders or clan-chieftain outside the manor house. Also, just to clarify no warcats inside the manor house either.

Speaking of the warcats outside of the manner, whats the perception range you need to passively see them coming and point them out?

I'm not sure when you start seeing them at all, but right up to 390 perception I would occassionally still get ambushed by a fourth one, if I had three reivers/cats at melee.

Young Gryphons in Shard. Really good choice for quick Milti and quick everything lots of them lots of hunters quite swarmy. Or Adnaf for that matter. As the Mages are mostly confused they don't cast at this time so hunting those is also a good idea since now you can dance with them.

I have 380 evasion, 310 parry, 290 leather, 340 ME and 260 bow (thief).

Would either of those things in Shard be good for me? I have tried bristle backs but the gen is just too low.. and I don't really have the swimming to hang out in Rossman's.

Not sure about your evasion but you could most likely learn some parry and they would train your bow like a mad man.

I actually ended up going to kra'hei in Ratha - which are great except for bow. I just need to bite the bullet and backtrain bow when I finish kra'hei and before I go to seords. I really would like to be bow primary, but it's hard with 5 ranks of backstab per circle.

Most Dragon Priests are in the 300+ Range. There is quite a variety of them to hunt down near Shard. Young Gryphons wont teach you much at those ranks. Mature might but not very well. Adnaf Spirit Dancers would.
