Seems a little over doing it at the moment.

>eng warr
You begin to stealthily advance on an Adan'f blood warrior.
You sense movement out of the corner of your eye.
>
An Adan'f blood warrior tastes the air with its tongue as it warily scans the shadows.
>
An Adan'f spirit dancer searches the area.
>
The shadow mage seems particularly irritated, blinking its eyes occasionally as if to clear them somehow.
>
You feel fully balanced again.
>
You close to pole weapon range on an Adan'f blood warrior.
>backstab
You close to melee range on an Adan'f blood warrior.
>
An Adan'f spirit dancer looks at you.
>
Your sabre is a little awkward, but usable.
You slip out of concealment and backstab an Adan'f blood warrior!
< Moving in with powerful grace, you thrust a serrated sabre at an Adan'f blood warrior. An Adan'f blood warrior fails to dodge. The sabre lands a hard hit that pokes a nasty hole in the warrior's neck, lightly stunning it.
[You're nimbly balanced and in dominating position.]
[Roundtime 3 sec.]
>
An Adan'f shadow mage gestures at you.
A noose of darkest shadows forms in an Adan'f shadow mage's hands. With a flick of its wrist, it sends it flying at you!
Your panther mask is slightly damaged.
The noose constricts silently around your neck, neatly severing your windpipe and jugular.
You are knocked completely senseless!
>
An Adan'f blood warrior leans precariously backwards before resting most if its weight on its tail.
>hide
You are still stunned.
>
An Adan'f shadow mage shakes its head.
>
An Adan'f spirit dancer begins to advance on you!
The spirit dancer is still a distance away from you and is closing steadily.
>
The shadow mage seems particularly irritated, blinking its eyes occasionally as if to clear them somehow.
>

You are still stunned.
>hide
>hide
The spirit dancer notices your attempt to hide!
The spirit dancer discovers you, ruining your hiding place!
Roundtime: 2 sec.
>
...wait 2 seconds.
>
The shadow mage seems particularly irritated, blinking its eyes occasionally as if to clear them somehow.
>
The shadow mage closes to pole weapon range on you!
>retreat
You try to back away from an Adan'f blood warrior but are unable to get away!
Roundtime: 3 secs.

>
* Moving with powerful grace, an Adan'f blood warrior swings a srhhtel hammer at you. You slap away some of the hammer with a serrated sabre. The hammer lands a heavy strike that rips the top layer of skin from your chest and exposes underlying muscle, lightly stunning you.
[You're near death, extremely imbalanced with opponent dominating.]
>
You feel yourself falling...
You feel like you're dying!

>
The shadow mage seems to no longer be irritated by the dirt.

An Adan'f shadow mage searches the area.
>

>
The spirit dancer closes to melee range on you!
>
The blood warrior moves into a position to dodge.
>
* Moving like a striking snake, an Adan'f spirit dancer claws at you. You barely block with a target shield. The claw lands a devastating hit that explodes the heart and lungs with a bone-shattering blow to the chest.
* Dalkin was just struck down!
Your serrated sabre falls to the ground.

You feel your mind and body return to normal as your concentration fades.
Your death cry echoes in your brain as it quickly dawns on you that you have just died! Already, you feel the tug of eternity upon your spirit and you struggle to remain tied to this world.

You are somewhat comforted that you have gained favor with your God and are in no danger of walking the Starry Road, never to return.

Your body will decay beyond its ability to hold your soul in 314 minutes.
You don't feel particularly confident after this.
[You're extremely imbalanced]
>dance
The dead can't dance!
>depart
You suddenly find yourself floating upward, the light dimming slowly around you. Eventually, everything vanishes as the distance increases and you are enveloped by a sparkling panorama of brilliantly lit stars.

[The Starry Road]
You find yourself walking along a road like one you have never seen before. Spread out before you is a stream of light, paved with stars and bounded by every constellation and planet you had ever seen while a mortal, only now more vibrant and somehow alive.
Also in the room: The Starry Host
Obvious exits: north
>

You walk forward, putting one foot in front of the other, wandering closer to something which never seems nearer. Time, space and distance have no meaning in this place, leaving you feeling nothing but a strange peace tempered by a prickly feeling that your destiny is not yet finished.

After what seems an eternity, you reach a gate. Before you stands a stoney-faced being who gives you a hard look before saying, "Were it not for the love of Truffenyi, your soul would be lost to the Void. Do not squander his gift." With a swift movement of his hand you suddenly feel yourself pulled back to the land of the living.
You feel chilled to the bone with fear as darkness surrounds and spreads through you, blotting out everything. You hear the click of claws near your head as the fear builds to unbearable proportions....

...and suddenly fades, leaving you alive...and elsewhere.
[Temple of Darkness, Aldauth's Alcove]
Larger than the other alcoves in deference to the god of dark endings, most of the space is wasted since the only permanent fixture is a small black altar in the center of the rectangular room. The air is neither hot nor cold, and there is no discernable fragrance. Stripped down to the bare black marble floor, walls and altar, this is a quiet statement of just what we take with us when Aldauth pays his final visit.
Obvious exits: north.
>stand
You stand back up.

Something is haywire with the Adan'f Mages, snap casted the spell, knocked me completely senseless, damaged my mask, tore out my wind pipe, from full health to dead in a few moments. I'm sorry, for starters, for it to damage armor like that, now makes it not viable to hunt. How it was able to snap cast like that, on top of other things that Adan'f are doing, such as, being hidden at melee with a mage, a dancer coming in, and dancing out of the room, with the mage, that I was at melee with also. Seems things just got buggy. Which didn't happen before the mages got their magic back.

Example log:
>
The spirit dancer leaps in and spins into a graceful pirouette, filling the area with hissing laughter.
>stalk
...wait 1 seconds.
You close to melee range on an Adan'f shadow mage.
>stalk
You move into position to stalk an Adan'f shadow mage when it moves.
>back
Your sabre is a little awkward, but usable.
You slip out of concealment and backstab an Adan'f shadow mage!
< Driving in like the irresistable force of a cyclone, you thrust a serrated sabre at an Adan'f shadow mage. An Adan'f shadow mage attempts to evade, leaning wrong and blundering into the blow. The sabre lands an awesome strike that lodges serrated sabre in the mage's right shoulder to rip the arm free, lightly stunning it.
The mage's skull-tipped staff falls to the ground.
[You're incredibly balanced and overwhelming opponent.]
[Roundtime 3 sec.]
>
A glowing skull-tipped staff slowly fades away.
>
An Adan'f blood warrior begins to advance on you!
The blood warrior is still a distance away from you and is closing steadily.
>hide
>
You melt into the background, convinced that your attempt to hide went unobserved.
Roundtime: 2 sec.
>
The spirit dancer dances merrily east, leading an Adan'f shadow mage and an Adan'f blood warrior with it.
>back
There is nothing else to face!
Your sabre is a little awkward, but usable.
Backstab what?
>l
[Whistling Wood, Barrows]
Gleaming darkly in the subdued light, a large pool of water lies nestled beneath the roots of a dead tree. The bark of the tree glimmers with light reflected from the pool.
Obvious paths: north, east.
>sneak e
Roundtime: 3 sec.

You sneak east...

[Whistling Wood, Barrows]
A dark mound of earth rises beside the trail, its surface covered in recently-dug holes. Faint sounds can be heard coming from them, though they are too dark to see what lies within. You also see an Adan'f shadow mage, an Adan'f blood warrior, and an Adan'f spirit dancer.
Obvious paths: east, west.
>
Appearing to have lost sight of its target, an Adan'f blood warrior stops advancing.
>eng mage

An Adan'f blood warrior tastes the air with its tongue as it warily scans the shadows.

Seems, since the magic was turned on, Dancers are helping Mages escape from melee range, and taking them to another room also.

Ramis and his brood.

Thats kind of cool, never seen the group mechanic before.

Also, if you don't want to get your throat torn out by DO, you shouldn't let them catch you out of hiding.

BMR is also an acceptable solution. As is moon magic.
