Anyone have an alternative to Celps with around 450 weapon and defenses? Well my parry is almost 500 and my MO is more like 350 :(
Cute verbs and speaking from hiding are excellent ways to catch a lightning bolt in the face regardless of mystical ninja abilities.

Might be able to learn off of shalswar/dp's, but could be slow. They swarm pretty good so you could learn some multi. they're a little rough on weapons though.
I haven't gotten to celpeze in prime, but in TF 400 multi was the magic number for me with celpeze. Once I hit that I rarely got hit (had similar stats to you everything in mid 400s parry in low 500s)
gotta just grind out that multi somewhere.
might be able to jump into black apes also

I just dance with 2 celps at 68 reflex, 500 evas and 360 multi. They lock me up in a hurry, and multi moves along nicely. I do get a lot of bleeders, but I'm not going back to raiders, so this is about the only show in town.
I like em a lot. Guess I'll just go to DP to learn disarm/locks/backstab

Did you ever find an alternative? I'm in the same boat as you. Really don't want to hunt celps. I get enough island life in real life. The best I've found have been black apes. Just annoyed by breaking shields and tripping over random foliage while I hunt.
