I just have to say, you guys are about to enter a world of hurt.
I've spent the last hour getting a tour of some of the most incredible things I've seen in terms of DR Critters. Ever.
Care for a taste?
With the speed and temerity of a swooping falcon, a Dragon Priest assassin chops a silver q'zhalata dagger at Xadrian. Xadrian attempts to dodge, failing miserably. The dagger lands an extremely heavy hit that rips the left leg from the hip socket, making a wet popping sound! The Dragon Priest assassin stoops over Xadrian's corpse, its cold eyes shimmering with twisted delight as it produces a gold-etched q'zhalata blade with a flick of the wrist. With surgical skill, the Dragon Priest assassin severs his head in a shower of blood, deep crimson droplets rolling down its face as it manages to twist Xadrian's head free with a sickening series of wet cracks and pops.
As the a Dragon Priest assassin rises one again, it snatches one of the small obsidian rods dangling from its tool belt and thrusts it into the ground, causing the rod to expand skyward to nearly ten times its original height. Gripping the head firmly in both hands, the Dragon Priest assassin thrusts the severed head onto the pinnacle of the obsidian pole, causing a tangle of blood-red lettering to appear upon its inky black surface.
* Xadrian is slain before your eyes!

[Dragon Priest Stronghold, Command Post]
Positioned on a raised platform above the back of the korograth, this vantage point gives a perfect view of the surrounding terrain below. Thick panes of pale blue glass, resting upon the heavily scratched surface of a massive semicircular desk, the have been sandwiched around a collection of maps and coded documents, guarding them against the unforgiving elements. Along the outer railing buckets of arrows surround thick stone troughs filled with a black viscous tar, filling the air with acrid aroma. You also see a scarred obsidian pole capped with a freshly severed head, a crossbow bolt, a scimitar, and a spiraling staircase.
Also here: the body of Xadrian who is lying down.
Obvious paths: none.

Resting atop the pinnacle of the pole thrust into the ground, the severed head of Xadrian gazes off into the distance with lifeless milky-white eyes. Just beneath the slowly oozing neck wound, the detailed image of a dragon curled about Elanthia has been masterfully cut into the inky-black obsidian. Thick droplets of black flecked blood snake down the scarred surface of the pole, weaving between the luminescent scrawling trailing down its length.
There appears to be something written on it.

Let it be known to all, Xadrian stood accused of crimes against the Dragon Priest Empire. By order of the Grand Arbiter, Xadrian has been found guilty under all charges, and sentenced to death. Let the severed head of this infidel serve as a warning to all who would dare oppose the Empress!
