I do use a real weapon ME/HE/2HE/LE/HT when hunting dobek's but I still like to raise sling skill in the process. Just curious if there was something else to hunt with slings? That has a nice loot rate and can work my secondary weapon, which happens to be sling.

Well, yes and no. Anything that resists impact damage is going to be especially painful for a sling user. Also, shields are problematic.
