Howdy folks. We've had a strong showing this month, pushing us to a solid 3rd place on the Mud Sites voting. I've noticed various threads popping up on their forums inquiring about what MUDs are out there, and encourage our player base to spread the news that DR is alive and doing well. You might even consider sharing your videos there as some of the other MUDs' players have done.

While I don't have any hard evidence it is making a difference, the number of Outgoing click throughs is impressive and will hopefully nab us some attention. We'll continue thinking up new ideas and keep building momentum. Thanks!

Ill jump in when i get approved. I think focusing on why DR is a great game, and flat ignoring the trolls is a good idea moving forward. I mean one of the guys name is snowtroll.

This is a great idea, but I just find it distasteful for some reason. Maybe I should just get over that.

I guess what would really help me is if a link appeared on the elanthipedia search page, rather than just the main page. I almost never visit the main page, but rather go straight to searching for what I'm looking for.

Doesn't anyone have access to the server side of the site? It should take all of 20 seconds to add with a simple vi edit.

26+ days in the voting cycle and DR has 1256 votes. By my Calculations ~65-70 are mine (2 at home, 1 at work daily except weekends). So that says to me most people don't vote regularly.

If people did, we would easily hit 2nd place which currently has 2200+ votes. I am sure staff can vote too.

Is it a big deal? Eh probably not that big of a deal if we maintain 1st page, but 2nd is definitely better of course.
