Is it just me, or are the forums not working very well lately, especially later at night?
When searching for new posts, I get "Waiting for Results. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ."
Otherwise, I get very long page load times (30 seconds), often followed by an "Application Error."

Instead of "show all posts", "show new posts". You'll have to manually mark topics as read since the mark as read seems to be different for threaded and legacy view. It's a lot more clicking, but at least it's quick.

Yeah, that was more humour than an actual question since this is already what I do anyway. It too is ridiculously slow sometimes, so hopefully the same thing that fixes the 'Application Errors' that have been popping up frequently also addresses the endless 'Waiting for results........' thing too.
