At May's meeting, a player asked me to post a list of all perks that come with a platinum membersip. At long last, here it is!

A Smaller Community of Adventurers: Remember the days when you knew everyone's name (and everyone knew yours?) Simutronics will monitor our Platinum subscription base to ensure that the community in DragonRealms Platinum never grows large.
Strict Policy Enforcement: Tired of the distraction of disruptive players who interfere with the roleplaying environment? Platinum's strict enforcement of policy will ensure that such disturbances are few and far between.
Enhanced Roleplaying Opportunities: Fewer adventurers mean greater opportunities for involvement in special roleplaying events organized by both GMs and by other players. Gone are the days of fighting for a spot in insanely long merchant lines, screaming mobs during invasions, and roleplaying events complicated by endless screen scroll.
Build Your Own Hunting Areas: Any Platinum subscriber may apply to join the Architectural & Landscaping Association of Elanthia! Whether you want to build your own haunted forests, enchanted castles and infested dungeons, or explore your friends' creations, DragonRealms Platinum is the place!
(Additional information about ALAE that is not on the website: Any Platinum subscriber who meets the requirements may apply to join ALAE, where they can create their own private areas within the game (ranging from forests, caverns, and dungeons to buildings, houses, and structures), as well being paid in-game coin to work on projects for GMs.)

Access to Test Instance
Access to All Instances: Platinum subscribers retain all access to DragonRealms Prime, including Premium long-term benefits (LTBs). They also have access to all Premium areas, hunting grounds, and services, and are eligible for one home per account (per instance).
Discounts: Platinum members receive a 10% discount on DragonRealms merchandise and event tickets, including SimuCon.
Sneak Peaks: Platinum players receive early access to, and previews of, new spells, areas, and systems.
Personalized Service: Platinum members have a separate queue for Assists and Reports, which are handled directly by GameMasters.
Unique Long Term Benefits: All platinum subscribers get an extra 100 points per month, and players who have subscribed for five years or more obtain access to transportation portals.
Houses: Platinum players are immediately eligible to buy a home of their own.
Vaults: Vaults and vault transfers are free for platinum players and hold up to 250 items from day one.
Custom Pre Titles: Platinum characters past the novice stage can ask for a custom pre-title that can be up to 15 characters long (including spaces).
Free Quests: Platinum players have the chance to sign-up for free quests, including some of the old favorites.
Reduced In Game Prices: The prices for several items and services have been reduced to match the much smaller economy, including ships, merchants, festivals, and assisted weddings.
Personal Teleportation Devices: A unique set of magic devices known as PTDs, or "Jumpy Jewelry" are available via a merchant. These devices retain charges that allow a player to teleport to specific areas in the game if the right moon is in the sky.
Easier In Game Forms of Communication: Jadeite and kyanite gweths are found in abundance in Platinum, allowing players to keep in close contact with each other. CHATTER also allows you to chat with other players on a game-wide level.
Platinum Only Merchants: Over the Edge (better than store bought weapons), A Plethora of Placards (unique lawn signs for your home), and Diverse Debris (just what it sounds like) are just a few of the many.

ALAE has had several meetings in the past where Platinum members are given tours of areas under development. It is some pretty cool stuff, and the new system is even easier to use I've been told.

if you guys remember droughtmans maze i'm told alae did a number of the rooms outside the area there, although it was a short-lived "area".
i know other areas must have been incorporated into the game, perhaps solomon could give a short list of some of the areas that have been "player" designed.

House of the Steel Dove, another of the Elothean Houses in Shard
... and also the upcoming House of the Grey Storm, which is also an Elothean House that will be in Shard. :)

So they've done things that have eventually crossed over and become part of Prime? Very nice.

I'm pretty sure they did the area where the merrows are, from the main road to the caves.
