Happy Friday, hoarders!
This is the first phase of a series of QoL updates I am making to inventory management. This release adds new search parameters to the INVENTORY verb (s20) — as well as adding a recursive search for all of these options. (For example, typing `INV CAMBRINTH` will show worn cambrinth, but `INV CAMBRINTH FULL` will also show cambrinth in your containers.)
New search parameters (listed in INV HELP): melee, swappable, throwable, stackable, edged, blunts, pole, ranged, ammo, slings, bows, crossbows, brawling, shields, light, chain, brigandine, plate, magic, enchanted, wands, cambrinth, foci, scrolls, crafting, tools, metals, bones, stones, woods, cloths, leathers, remedies, herbs, sigils, substances, books, gems, edibles, wearables, nonwearables, atmospheric, ezscripted, altered, incidentals, bonded, registered
I also updated the search outputs to show item taps rather than just item shorts. (It’s not uncommon for hoarders to have multiple items with identical shorts, leading to a frustrating game of “guess which item the output is pointing to.”) I will be proposing a new varfield to give players the option of seeing a concise output (just shorts).
