Well, there are several of us who are no strangers to this game, who have, for one reason or another, gone on to other games and come back... My questions are these...

1) Can we have (or show) between various accounts/breaks in services, a total time of say, 24 months? (that's not 2 accounts for 12 months at the same time, but 24 months of having services with Simutronics running)

2) Be given the opportunity to at least sit in on an interview to show our customer service skills, or pass on a resume showing other work history which qualifies us for the position to have this requirement looked over and judged on a case by case basis?

3) Throw it out altogether?

If you can clearly explain what the situation is and why you took time away, things are looked at in context. We do have the 12-month rule as a general requirement, but I do tend to take things in relation to everything else. Just tell me what you have to bring to the table. Also, tell me why your activity has been so intermittent. I'll want to know why.

I am always interested to know what professional skills you bring to the position. We may be a bit unconventional and you may be applying to work on a game, but it's still a work environment and we love to know what your professional or educational background is.
